The Need for Color: Bracelet DIY - Potrzeba koloru: Bransoletka DIY

Winter has come back. It started snowing around noon and everything is white again. With the grey weather outside, I feel the desperate need for color. With that an idea for a feature came to my mind.

Zima wróciła. Zaczęło padać koło południa i jest znowu biało. Przy szarej i ponurej pogodzie na zewnątrz, odczułam wielką potrzebę czegoś kolorowego. Tak pojawił się pomysł na nowy cykl:)

I found a small orange purse and my summer nail polish. Two things that bring warmth to these cold winter days. As I don't have any orange or coral jewellery I decided to make a quick DIY and turn one of my black wooden bracelets into an edgy one.

Znalazłam małą pomarańczową torebkę i mój wakacyjny lakier do paznokcji.

I started by making triangles on a bracelet with tape strips. You have to make sure that the tape sticks firmly to the surface of your bracelet.

Najpierw zakleiłam bransoletkę tak, by zostały tylko trójkąty. Trzeba zwrócić uwagę, żeby taśma dokładnie przylegała do powierzchni bransoletki.

Next paint the triangles with your nail polish. I used two layers as the black paint was still visible with one layer of my new vibrant color :)

Następnie pomalowałam trójkąty lakierem. Użyłam dwóch warstw, ponieważ czarna farba prześwitywała po jednej warstwie.

I left the bracelet for a few hours to let the nail polish dry. Then I got rid of the tape and the bracelet is ready to wear. Easy, isn't it?

Zostawiłam bransoletkę na parę godzin, żeby dokładnie wyschnęła.
